Membership Requirements
Tryouts:
Team Member Applicants must initially play at least one 8 hr. game with the rest of the team. At that game the applicant will be evaluated by team members. Applicants must also fill out our membership info form. Criteria to be met includes:
- Maturity- (no whiners or sore losers) Minimum age is 21.
- Fair play and personal integrity- (no cheaters or wipers)
- Ability to stay with and work / coordinate with the rest of the team during the game.
- Understanding of and utilization of basic paintball skills.
- Personality must be compatible with the rest of the team. The team has to be able to get along well if it is going to be effective.
- Temperament- we are serious on the field but easy going and friendly off it, to both allies and opponents alike. Hot heads and losing control of your temper will not be tolerated. Actions like these, even if they seem warranted at the time, will give the team a black eye and a bad reputation.
- Frequency of play- To be an asset to this team, you need to be at the field. You wouldn't join a baseball team and then tell the coach you can only play two games a season. Paintball is no different to Wild Bunch team members.
ACTIVE MEMBERS - Wild Bunch will cap its Active membership at 20 people.
- To be considered for one of the 20 Active member positions, a player must attend a minimum of 5 game events, and 1 traveling game throughout the season. (Note- this amount may be subject to change). Once the 20 Active member limit is reached, no further Active member positions will be made available throughout the rest of the season.
- Active membership status will be valid through one full season.
- At the end of this season, and every subsequent season thereafter, attendance will be calculated to see if all Active members fulfilled their 5 game, 1 traveling game minimum. Active members unable to meet this attendance criteria will lose their Active status, and become a Reserve member (if he/she at least makes the Reserve attendance standards).
- Active members are guaranteed full team benefits. Benefits currently include, but are not limited to, discounted or no charge pricing for goods and services from several of our sponsors.
RESERVE MEMBERS - Wild Bunch will cap its Reserve membership at 10 people.
- To be considered for one of the 10 Reserve member positions, a player must attend a minimum of 3 game events, and 1 practice event throughout the season. (Note- this amount may be subject to change). Once the 10 Reserve member limit is reached, no further Reserve positions will be allowed.
- Reserve membership status will be valid through one full season.
- At the end of each season, attendance will be calculated to see if all Reserve members fulfilled their 3 game, 1 practice minimum. Reserve members unable to meet this attendance criteria will be removed.
- Advancement to an Active member status is possible at the end of every season.
- Reserve members are still considered team members, which allows them to play under our banner, share the team staging area at events, attend team only game and practice events, and have access to the “team only” section on our forum.
- While not guaranteed full team benefits, Reserve members will be eligible to receive them at events when not all of the Active members attend. Benefits currently include, but are not limited to, discounted or no charge pricing for goods and services from several of our sponsors.
Equal treatment for ALL. Special treatment for NONE.
