Woodsball tournaments were a big part of paintball in the 80's and 90's. When speedball came in woodsball tournaments died.

Over the past few years people have tried to run scenario woodsball tournaments but I think most players just want it simple. Go kick the other teams *** and bring back their flag.

Over my 24 years of playing I can not tell you enough how much I learned from playing in tournaments!

3 man Tournaments put you under presser as if your the last 3 players left on your team and you have 5 minute before the game ends. What are you going to do? Run and dig in or make a plan and attack.

Woodsball tournaments help with communication. How to communicate to teammates over large distances in code with out the other team knowing what your talking about.

I sometimes wonder if most players today are scared of their teammates seeing how good or not so good they are when the win of the game is up to just them.

I always look at my team and judge everyone on it with only one question! If everyone else on my team was eliminated which players could win the game by them selfs? 1 on 1, 1 on 2 and 1 on 3!? On most ten man teams there may be only 3 to 4 players that can do that.

Tournaments help teach players how to step up THEIR game! To many players are only good in mobs/groups.

Splat Tag is go to try this one more time this year. We are planning to have a 3man tournament this August 22. We need a minimum of 6 teams or it will be a no go.

Tournament will be Sunday August 22.
Deadline to sign up is 5pm August 17.
There is no limit on the number of teams. Just a minimum needed of 6 or event will be canceled.
To register call me at 651-488-7700 and pay team Entry on a credit card. No refunds will be given to teams that cancel after 5pm August 17 or no show!

Entry fee is $75 per team. Teams can have 4 players on a roster.
Tournament level paintballs are $60/2000 and $20/500. FPO.
No discounts on Entry or paintballs. Open to all players and teams.
Trophies will be given to the top three teams, 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Games will be on wooded courses. Round robin with a finals.
5 minute games.
Two flags.
3 player teams.
No radios, No Gillie suits, No firing modes, bounce or rapping.
Crono 300fps.
12bps max.
